Some months ago, Moriel was compelled to discharge Amos Farrell from its team, and now for reasons unrelated to Moriel (or Jacob Prasch), RTN TV Scotland has been forced to do the same. In his anger at being dismissed, Amos Farrell has resorted to a video rampage alleging all manner of ridiculous, (and easily dis-proven) claims , that RTN is finished (actually RTN is doing rather well), and that Moriel is likewise (Moriel, by God's Grace is doing extremely well). We reject his diatribes as  non factual.

This kind of behavior and the casual foul language that accompanies it, should not be unacceptable to any Christ honouring Christian organization. We do not believe The Lord wants us associated with this kind of thing. 


A career US Naval veteran, David Sr. came to a saving faith in Jesus through the prayers of his Christian wife, and he then served The Lord in deaconship at his Baptist Fellowship, and was also a friend and support to the ministry of Moriel in the USA.

David Sr. is 'home free' (Psalm 116:15). We rejoice that we shall be united with him again when Jesus returns. In the interim , we express our prayerful condolences in Christ to his son David Lister and to his daughter Linda (who is also a saved believer) at their TEMPORARY loss, which is their father's gain.

This then would be my first overseas mission and also the very first time I had ever had the opportunity of preaching the gospel outside of the UK. From that time until the present I have travelled to India many times and I have become well accustomed to the culture and know exactly how to communicate the message of the gospel to many different peoples from as many backgrounds and social standing as you could imagine. Now in saying all that, I love to go to rural India, to travel many hours and even days to get to very remote locations, India is growing fast and believe me when I say that some of the remote areas I first visited are not as remote as they use to be. I remember first arriving in a village on the outskirts of Vijayawada, the very first night I was throwing out frogs, cockroaches, the place was full of Lizards, and on one occasion there was a very large snake in the room, the heat was intense so no sleep and cold-water showers in the morning all go to make up and typify what mission is all about, well, especially in the early days. And in saying all that, I absolutely loved it.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE MISSIONARIES GONE?

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12)

• Introduction:

I am sat at Delhi airport waiting for a connecting flight to Odisha for a short mission trip there, I have to wait five hours so why not use that time and write this short article (2018). I have just completed two weeks ministering in the remote areas of Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Nepal, I am not joking when I say the rooms, I have been lodging in have been a bit basic, cold showers and sometimes in the dark as there was no electric and one room had no sink, they have been flea-infested, mosquito-infested, rat-infested, and cockroach-infested, but who’s complaining, that’s just mission right?

I have been involved in church planting missions for many years, I am presently working in India, and Nepal, but let's just keep to India since this is my primary mission field. Over the last number of years I have not met one church planting missionary, I have heard and seen those that travel to India, work in major cities and tag themselves with some developed church there, so basically, they come to India, stay in a nice hotel, give their testimony, maybe a little preaching, some singing, help out a little at an orphanage, preach to the converted, go home and tell everyone they are missionaries. Like I said, "Where have all the missionaries gone".

• The Preachers, Past:

Where would we be if it wasn't for the faithful pioneering preachers and missionaries from the past, we are the fruit of past preaching, a mission to those past preachers meant to take the Gospel to those that had not heard and win the lost to Christ. Men and women of passion and authority, they were prepared for any hardships, they left all behind and went forwards with nothing but their Bibles. They didn't just go on a two-week holiday to a foreign land and throw some mission work in, on the contrary, they left all and established the gospel in many remote places, some even died for the faith. Isn’t it interesting to hear the empty boasts of those that want to speak in tongues and yet can't tell anyone about Jesus in their own language? People today want to tag themselves with some title, Pastor, evangelists, and dare I say Apostle (Oh dear), and missionary etc. etc., and they produce nothing, so, where are all the missionaries”.

• The Preachers, Present:

Today we are living in strange times, many believers travel to other countries and get involved in some type of mission work, they go home show the photos and there you go that’s what a missionary now means. Of course, not for all, there are still those that have the call, and they go and do great works and I thank the Lord for them all. The thing is, people are looking to us, we are now the present generation of Missionaries, preachers, and evangelists and so on, and the question is, what legacy are we leaving behind, I include myself in this argument. Soul-winning as to be the primary focus for all mission’s work, along with church planting and all the social activities can follow, but once the gospel focus has been lost then the work becomes nothing but a social activity and non-relevant in regard to missionary work. We are the present generation, and we need to get back to biblical preaching and missions work, church planting mission must be the focus and all those that have the desire are to pray, support, send out, and get involved as best they can as time is running out.

• The Preachers, Future:

The generation below us (Those that are coming after us) would see in us what they would eventually become, now that is a worrying thought. If I were to be totally honest this generation seems to have lost its missionary focus and history, sound gospel preaching, doctrine, and biblical authority needs to be brought back into the pulpits, for true biblical expository preaching would only ever produce missionaries with some spine and backbone that would make the man of God desire to serve the Lord.

I have recently met a pastor who has a fifteen-year-old daughter that is totally paralysed from the neck down (She has recently died) and yet this man is a church-planting preacher that left his own country and works in the remote areas of Nepal. I stand with this man, he is a great example for us all, for many in the UK don’t or should I say won’t even attend church, they have some reason (One hundred and one of them) not to go, pitiful, spineless, and empty.

• Conclusion:

Heaven and Hell are the only destinations all are heading to, the missionaries who go and have the lost on their hearts will bring as many as they can into the kingdom by God’s grace, for it is a wise man that winneth souls (Proverbs 11:30). Preachers today need to have the passion; it’s a calling and not a hobby, they must look and learn from those that have gone before, and they must preach the gospel as it is, for as it is, it’s the power of God.

Orphanage Kothapeta, Andhra Pradesh

• Update and report:

Over the past two years we have seen slow work on the construction of the Moriel Orphanage, the location and the land had to be identified and then design of the building and construction to commence. Then we had the pandemic and all the problems that had brought, the constant lockdown, the stop and starting of the construction work, along with all the political rallies and difficulties in obtaining work and building materials. However, the work had made steady progress and we are right near to completion, and as you have probably guessed, the latest hindrance to the work had been the cyclones and heavy rains, but the orphanage is pretty much completed.

There are two main dorms, nice room and all have been tiled to make nice sleeping quarters one room each for the group of boys and girls. One large and main hall, toilet, and shower facilities, and one kitchen plus one office. The roof with a surrounding wall would act as a small playground, and also to be used as a main classroom during the severe heat during the summer months. So overall a pretty nice facility for the children that are going to be living there.

I am Pastor Samuel Jaya Raju from Andhra Pradesh, India. I am in the service of the Lord since 2005. My wife’s name is Monali, she is an MBA graduate. God has blessed us with two sons Nathan Jairus 10 years and Mark Jeremias 7years (I named him after Mark Jackson). I work as a pastor and preacher. I go around my state and other states to deliver the word of God. Through this I brought many to Lord.

I am overwhelmed of happiness for being a part of Mark Jackson ministries in India. I came to know Mark from 2006. In all these years we shared the word of God in street meetings, conducted pastoral conferences, seminars and even gave baptisms to my church members, roof top preaching and many other outreach programmes.

In 2018 Brother Mark visited me along with Mr. Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries. On his visit here I arranged a pastor’s conference . Mr. Jacob delivered the word of God and the pastors who attended were blessed and gained knowledge in the way that was easy to apply in their ministry.

I always had a dream of running an orphanage. And this came true with the helping hand of Mr. Jacob. He came forward to buy the land and construct a building. Started the construction in 2020 March. The work was going smoothly but pandemic gave a break to the work. We expected the work to be completed by this time but the lockdowns in my area slowed down the work. Only the painting and electric work is left over. The left over work will come to an end by this month.

I would like to thank deep from my heart Moriel Ministries and the Board Members and also the sponsors who supported and also for the abundant love showered on us. I am eagerly waiting to participate in the ministry of Moriel Ministries in India. The orphanage will soon be opened.

The outlandish claim that Moriel and its leadership is under some investigation by the FBI and cyber-crime authorities is not only a baseless lie, but a ridiculous one. The altogether false allegations on these videos, much of it inventing groundless charges of financial impropriety, are ludicrous and easily disproven.

Let’s explain one false claim and what really did happen in New Zealand. There was a hiatus of Moriel in New Zealand when our New Zealand administrator Nigel Nicholson went to be with The Lord, as such we had no suitable administration. To clarify, our charity status was unfortunately lost due to outstanding submissions during the period from when Nigel went to be with the Lord until we could get our new administrators in place. We had fulfilled book orders etc. from abroad on an interim basis. Once we had a new administration in place, Moriel NZ re-registered with the NZ government IRD (which is like the US IRS or UK Inland Revenue Service) in full accordance with law under the supervision of our independent Christian accountants.

Moriel is duly and legally registered with the NZ IRD, with accounts submitted to them by our charter accountants from an independent Christian firm based in the Waikato. (Other Moriel branches are likewise registered with fully audited legal accounts in those countries, including with the American IRS and The British Charities Commission, etc.) Viewing publicly available records is easy to do in today’s internet world.

Moriel is prepared to furnish any of our regular Kiwi supporters with full access to these accounts upon request. Moriel has but one bank account in NZ, and these hideous and defamatory claims of impropriety by this morally discredited individual by any of our team are absolutely outrageous. There is a litany of additional doctrinal and ethical issues regarding this accuser. 

Moriel USA has Christian accountants and two of them have children in the mission field, one in Ecuador and one in Haiti. Moriel UK has a Christian accountant and the records are publicly available to view.

We could spend the next two weeks answering these baseless claims, unfounded accusations and conjectures but below is our response on this subject. We are going to get back to teaching His Word for these last days. Also, we are going to pray for those that oppose us and ask that our Moriel supporters pray for them too.

While we recognize that many ministries have differences on matters which are more theological than doctrinal, we are all brothers and sisters in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we are all belonging to the family of God. As the darkness is increasing, rapidly, and we are entering the last days, we are seeking peace with our fellow servants of Christ Jesus. The world looks on with amusement as to quote Galatians 5:15, “But if you bite and devour one another, take care lest you be consumed by one another”.

The call for all of us to be at peace with each other is in obedience to the scriptures. 

Mark 9:50 “Salt is good, but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves and be at PEACE with one another”.

Galatians 5:22 - 26 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

Hebrews 12:14 “Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord”.

1 Thessalonians 5:13b “Live in peace with one another”.

There are many more scriptures which admonish us to be at peace with one another. Perhaps the one prayer we need all to consider is this by Jesus. John 17 : 20-23 , “ I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word: that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me, and the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they MAY BE ONE, JUST AS WE ARE ONE; I in them, and Thou in ME, that he may be perfected in UNITY, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me.

It is the heartfelt desire of Moriel Ministries that we stop all the bickering and hostility amongst ourselves, and that we humble ourselves before the Lord, repent from this behavior, and get on with the Lord’s work under His direction. We are all servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Who are we to judge another man’s servant? To put it another way, who are we to condemn another’s servant?

As some of you are aware, Joshua Chavez, who is angered at being morally disqualified from ministry due to his serious sexual sin and a marital scandal that became public knowledge, has launched an absurd attack within one week on two videos totalling more than 7 hours slandering Moriel, RTN TV, John Haller, James Jacob Prasch, Pastor Marco Quintana, Dean Gibson, Pierre Mosely and others.

Moriel has but one bank account in NZ, and these hideous and defamatory claims of impropriety by this morally discredited individual by any of our team are absolutely outrageous . There is a litany of additional of doctrinal and ethical issues regarding this demonstrably false accuser beginning with his pavement protests in New York against the Time Square Church (founded by David Wilkerson).

Oddly, Joshua Chavez was apprehended operating spoof websites under the name of “Lydia” (which he was compelled to admit to), yet erroneously accuses RTN TV and Moriel of something he was caught perpetrating himself. His partner, Amos Farrell, has likewise admitted to spoofing (Amos Farrell was fired by Moriel for hiding his divorce and remarriage, and was thrown off of RTN TV for posting obscenity (the F-word) on RTN's Christian Facebook page).

All Moriel material is posted for free download on video or podcast with no cost. Old MP3 material with a download cost (still only available on that older format) is being progressively phased out as wqe re-record the older teaching for free download. Our regular subscribers are aware of this. We give everything we do away , and this has been our policy for several years once we began Moriel TV.

As was announced in a public statement by the Moriel Australia Board at the time , acting on legal advice, a public report was issued detailing the actions of a now deceased administrator in Australia, who, over a period of time , sadly took incremental amounts of money. Because the sums were not large, but accumulated over a period of time, only the audit by the new Australian Administrators revealed the theft. The Australian authorities were immediately of course notified, as was our lawyer. No one had any awareness of this as it was hidden, and once the initial inquiry was completed, the new Moriel Board circulated a published apologetic account of what transpired. There was never any attempt at non-disclosure; it was all openly reported, and the civil authorities were informed promptly.

The charges on this video contain lie upon lie, and nothing more. It is an embittered sexual predator and a serial liar (we have documented testimony from his wife) scripturally ineligible for ministry on a rampage against those who uphold the clear teaching of God's Word concerning the sanctity of Holy Matrimony.

Given his own history of cyber warfare with Justin Peters, John Mac Arthur, JD Hall and many others, it is bewildering why he would attribute behavior to another that many others have openly ascribed to him. Indeed, his own propensity for conflict led Moriel from restricting Social Media postings by Joshua Chavez on Moriel platforms. It is public knowledge that Jacob Prasch came under unbelievably cruel attack on the internet for being supportive of Joshua Chavez in his marital dilemma, with Jacob even being accused of the felony as accessory to human trafficking by Joshua Chavez. Jacob Prasch willingly took the cyber bullets for Joshua Chavez out of personal loyalty because Joshua Chavez had so often been loyal to Jacob Prasch. This has left us confused, but we will respond to these 8 distortions and fabrications for the sake of the dozens of the recipients Joshua Chavez has sought to drag into this fiasco.

1. It is no secret that while opposing Jacob Prasch & Moriel since their promotion of David Nathan whom most deemed heretical, Studio Scotland, despite desperate pleading to cease, has continued to sell videos featuring Jacob Prasch while denouncing him.  No one wants any of this and it could all have ended if Stuart & Deborah Menelaws of Studio Scotland simply stopped selling them. We cannot see this grievance as obsessive. When Joshua Chavez provided Moriel with the identity of tbc. kawaii, a relentless harasser from the Asian gay fetishist 'Kawaii' (Cutie) movement, Moriel did not pursue exposure of this individuals hidden identity on Facebook as Joshua Chavez suggested, but only sent copies to anyone contacting us. One posted a redaction of it and contacted Moriel (their identity remains unknown to Jacob Prasch). Moriel only requested a disclaimer that Moriel does not hate homosexuals be added. This has proved wise as two weeks ago tbc.Kawaii posted an attack on Jacob Prasch as a 'homophobe' and labelling Moriel as a cult for being homophobic. Not until tbc.Kawaii began recent attacks on Jacob's wife & family did he even refer to tbc.Kawaii in the public domain.
2. At no time did Moriel post or commission any spoof web sites to be posted by anyone or against anyone.  We did not even know who was doing some of these things (Studio Scotland has other adversaries). While he did it in support of Jacob Prasch, it was in fact Joshua Chavez himself who posted photos of the Menlaws with 666 and wads of money. We did not object, but Joshua Chavez did it. By his own admission, Joshua Chavez misrepresented himself on the internet in his attacks as a woman named 'Lydia', to which his critics have taken repeated offence. Why Joshua Chavez accosts us for things we did not do, but himself admits he did is absurd.
3. Joshua Chavez comparing a certain Christian woman named Linda M., who is not a Moriel team member (but is known to us) to the demonized witch in Acts Chapter 16 is a serious insult to her and to her husband, and an outrage. She is not that or anything like it.
4. We have never seen anything in regard to Studio Scotland that can be called a death threat, and even if there had been, it was nothing to do with us. The police have never contacted us nor anyone we know about a crime that never even transpired.
5. When Jacob Prasch & Moriel reacted to David Nathan's teaching such as "God The Father is Not The Creator", and 'animal blood will atone for sin in the Millennium', David Nathan's supporters began to defend his heretical teaching on the basis of him being fully Jewish while Jacob Prasch is not. This led to an ugly tirade of accusations of Jacob having a forged Passport ID, false DNA reports, and falsified Israeli ID. His family was also harassed. The Moriel board instructed Jacob not to display any private documentation in the public domain. Joshua Chavez takes issue with Jacob describing his father's family of 'Jewish ancestry', while he as a half Mexican would not describe himself as being of Mexican descent. "Jewish' of course is both a religion and an ethnicity. Jacob's testimony has been published for years. While his wife and children are Israeli Jewish Christians, he is not. Apart from being sent with his siblings to a Jewish community centre Jacob has no cultural or religious Jewish background whatsoever. Jacob’s mother was Roman Catholic and forced him to attend Catholic school against his own wishes. The public data however through Ancestry.com and Jewish Buriels.org are already in the public domain. The accusation by Joshua Chavez' own enemy Chris Rosebrough is that although the family name was the common Jewish name 'Brasch' changed to 'Prasch', and that Jacob Prasch is not from the Prasch line of former Jewish line of the Brasch family.  The online Jewish burial records indicate otherwise (which is likely why the Jewish Agency gave Jacob a Jewish ID immigration certificate in Israel (of which a renewal was shown online). While most Jewish birth & death records were destroyed in the purge of German Jewish records by the Nazis, grave markers remained even in most desecrated Jewish cemeteries. Claims by Joshua Chavez that these burial records were provided by a lady named Ursula are mistaken, these records are available on the internet.

   Ursula and Linda MacIntyre did however do Jewish research at  com into Jacob Prasch's family (documented Jews named: Wrecklin, Brasch, and Goldbeck),  but Jacob had almost no prior knowledge of them and requested they not be web posted. Jacob Prasch states: "I and my father were named for 'Jakob Prasch' who died 14 years before my father was born ". The name was Anglicized to James, but switched back to Jacob when I immigrated to Israel. This proved consistent with the public records available on ancestry.com
   
   David Nathan's wife and children are not Jewish (by rabbinic law). That does not however make his family either less Christian or less Jewish. Ethnicity does not determine whose doctrine was right and whose was wrong.
6. Jacob Prasch's personal business affairs are none of Joshua Chavez' business. Except that Moriel has benefited from the commercial licensing of domain names, Jacob's private business has nothing to do with Moriel. The insinuation however, that Jacob Prasch financed the private education his children with funds taken from Moriel is as ridiculous as it is defamatory. The audited accounts from those years at that time, 18 to 25 years ago, indicates that Moriel did not have that kind of money then; it often struggled to remain solvent in earlier years. We all know this.
7. Implied suggestions of financial impropriety by Moriel is baseless and sleazy gossip mongering. All of Moriel's accounts are audited and in complete compliance with American & British law. It was discovered in a posthumous audit that a now deceased Moriel administrator in Australia did engage in embezzlement several years ago. This has long since been corrected and it was the action of a single individual and nothing systematic within the ministry. Jacob Prasch donates all royalties for the sale of his books and recorded materials to the ministry.
   
   By law, all 'Specified Donations' (USA), and 'Designated Funds'(UK) must be paid to, or used exclusively for the purpose for which they were contributed. This includes mission funds (for India, Israel, Africa, Thailand, etc.,), and love offerings or honorariums to individuals (including Jacob Prasch). These normally must go through the books and bank accounts of the ministry. Re-donated income of any team members are their personal affair in terms of amounts. All revenue of book and media sales are used for the ministries work.
   
   When Joshua Chavez was a part time member of the Moriel Team as a videographer and in video production, he was paid $750 per month (he did a competent job). Joshua never objected to receiving payment for his work while at the same time saying Christian pastors and leaders should not be paid, which is not scriptural. His belief concerning paid pastors and leaders is based on a misinterpretation of 1 Corinthians 14 which he states there are no pastors or elders again which is not scriptural. 
   His other views that there are no sermons in scripture, only 'teaching', is also doctrinal error (dideskein is teaching, and homila is a sermon). 
8. The Castigation of the Moriel Board for not doing more to restrict Jacob Prasch and allow 'sin' begs two questions: What sin?  Joshua Chavez insinuates, but where is the sin he only conjectures which he expects to be accepted as fact.
   * Where is Joshua Chavez' board? Is there a Servus Cristi board?
   It is interesting that Joshua shares the fact that the Board did not like him but Jacob needed to negotiate for him. Why didn't we "like" him and why and how did Jacob negotiate for him? Well, simply, Joshua has bad doctrine on his videos, saying things like the Bible doesn't say there are sermons only teaching. Also, Joshua teaches there are no pastors and elders in the Bible these are just two examples. Well, David Lister approached him privately about his wrong doctrine and he would not correct it. Marco at a meeting with Joshua, David Lister, Jacob and Blair, there, Marco tried to explain his wrong doctrine even using the Greek. Joshua did not accept his correction. Then Scott Noble emailed Joshua and explained this wrong doctrine in a point by point studied email, well, Joshua gave a tepid response not really addressing his wrong doctrine nor did he correct it. This video The False Church System has caused division in Moriel Canada, divided churches there, and also hurt people in Marco's churches, who left, and even divided Scott Nobles father-in- law from the fold, who Scott labored for years and years to lead out of Buddhism. Hopefully you understand why we didn't like him. Blair reached out to Joshua in great kindness but his advice was rejected too. Hopefully our supporters will now understand why the Moriel Board didn't like Joshua.  So, while we didn't like Joshua for his bad doctrine Jacob would negotiate with his board that he feels Joshua is like a younger brother, or a friend in need of help (Galatians 6) and on that basis of that the board could let Jacob try and help Joshua but now Jacob knows Joshua will not accept correction of his doctrine. Jacob allowed personal loyalty to Joshua to bring him into repeated opposition to our board. This is an undeniable fact.
   
   As to the Servus Cristi Board, there is none. Joshua Chavez has not normally even had a church, and has been accountable to no one. Yet he sets himself up as a self- appointed investigative authority even making bogus assertions about other people's private business affairs that are none of his business, and a super critic of churches when he usually has none himself. His life and ministry are fundamentally out of God's order (Hebrews 10:25).
   
   Had he had a board and a church like those with whom he finds fault, he might not have dug himself into the public grave disqualifying himself from ministry that he finds himself in today. Joshua solemnly promised he would not marry the woman he did a few days after her arrival in the USA, but immediately broke his word with a vow (making her his wife in the Eyes of God) but that was it. After breaking his promise, it was then foolish of him to consummate the relationship without even being legally married to her. Claiming abuse, she left him. We do not wish to disclose the contents of the emails we have from her and other emails, because they are none of anyone's business and to do so would be pure vengeance against him.  However, by his wrong doctrine of the church (ecclesiology), his lack of accountability, and by breaking his word he has given his enemies the ammunition they needed. The claims of his wife and not being in control of his own family/ marriage mean he is not scripturally qualified for the ministry (1Timothy 3: 2-4), at least until he gets his marriage reconciled. The charges brought by his hurting wife and his enemies mean he does not have a good reputation with those outside of the church, but worse he has a broken marriage. God says that he has absolutely no right whatsoever to be in the ministry. In appreciation for the friendship Jacob Prasch had with Joshua Chavez, Jacob stood with him loyally, paying a public price for doing so and placing himself again in opposition to his own board. Jacob tried desperately to be an older brother to Joshua and tried to help him. Jacob has sadly failed. The Word of God says that Joshua Chavez cannot be in ministry.

Your response is evasive of the actual issue in question, and Unilever knows it.

Archaeology does not lie - politicians and corporate bureaucrats do. An archaeologically verified indigenous people group cannot by definition be termed an"occupying" presence in their own native land in and to which, they are virtually aboriginal. Apaches cannot occupy Arizona, and Jews cannot therefore occupy East Jerusalem or the West Bank. The archaeology proves that they were there first.

As I said, my fridge will only have Haagen Daz. That is my response.
I hope that others will do the same. I personally believe that Israel should ban your product altogether, and that supporters of Israel everywhere should boycott it.

Exhibit A: Synonyms for fake

It was the late Dr. Francis Schaeffer who tipped us off about FAKE prophets over fifty years ago. He identified the rise of a FAKE science that would be enhanced by technology and spun by media. He warned that their FAKE facts could be deadly.

“But wait:
Can we really trust the government of a scientist merely because he wears a white coat?
Can we actually believe that such people will not manipulate just because they are scientists?”

“Modern Man the Manipulator”

FAKE science narratives are what Scripture calls “science falsely so-called” (1 Timothy 6:20). Many science myths have now become part and parcel of our modern society. Concurrently there is much scientific fact that is being squelched. Thus many believers are having difficulty sorting out TRUTH from ERROR. This “sorting out” process is known as DISCERNMENT.

The Original FAKE Science

Schaeffer classified the original fake science as evolution, i.e., Darwinism. Darwinism was really the first big experiment -- not a true science experiment, but rather a grandiose psycho-social-spiritual experiment in altering man’s perception of God’s true reality. As a result, much science has been flawed for the past several centuries. Darwinian science gave birth to faulty geology (pun intended) about earth’s true age, Noah’s actual flood and current (and end time) seismic events.[2] Evolutionary biology gave rise to tinkering with DNA.

He presciently warned about a day when the science establishment elites would be tempted to seize power:

A DEADLY Science Narrative

The first global science experiment to reduce the world’s population was abortion. The public was fed the LIE by the Establishment Media and certain segments of the medical scientific community that an unborn baby is merely a piece of tissue. Many believed this fake science narrative.

Personal Testimony: In 1984 I was a right to life leader. A brave young college student volunteered to take a specimen of my pregnant urine into the local Planned Parenthood clinic so she could investigate them. She wanted to know what options they would give her when the urine sample tested positive for pregnancy. She was given a photocopied line drawing of a uterus with squiggly lines depicting the contents. No baby, no embryo, only black and white lines. The abortion industry wasn’t going to tell her the truth about fetal development. They made more money by persuading her to undergo the surgical procedure.

A year later I organized a local television showing of Dr. Bernard Nathanson’s film The Silent Scream which filmed an actual abortion via ultrasound. Dr. Nathanson was an atheist at the time. He told us he had personally been responsible for over 72,000 abortions. This new technology persuaded him that the very babies he had once killed could be saved. He believed in the potential of man’s reason, and he decided to employ ultrasound technology to show the accurate fact that a baby was being dismembered by suction. Once enlightened by this incontrovertible evidence, Dr Nathanson assumed that rational scientists, medical personnel, politicians, the courts and the public would be appalled at the obvious destruction of human life and seek to save it.

Techno-Media & FAKE Science

He also pinpointed the lurking dangers of computer technology. He understood computers well enough to grasp the ultimate deadly ramifications if this technology would one day be wielded by a power elite:

the computer itself is dangerous. The computer has entered into a new age: It can watch you. The great eye can be upon you--recording every single thing you do from your birth to your death....(p. 98) [emphasis added]

Could Schaeffer have foreseen the advent of social media, in which corporate tech marketers would profit from collecting and selling intimate human psycho-social data for the purpose of altering mankind’s beliefs, values, ethics, morals, opinions and behaviors? Could he have predicted the rise of deepfakes, where truth is nearly impossible to distinguish from lie? 

A DEADLY Tunnel Vision

Schaeffer noted that under controlled regimes science is purposefully skewed and manipulated in order to reach conclusions that bolster its own power base. The science “manipulators” that Dr. Schaeffer warned in 1970 then were already abandoning the rational Scientific Method based on knowledge and reason. He stated his belief that “I am convinced that science, as we have known it with a commitment to objectivity, cannot continue now that this philosophy is gone.” (p. 91) 

Why did Schaeffer focus so much attention on the loss of scientific objectivity? Objective science has traditionally recognized and acknowledged that it is not the truth, but it seeks to establish facts. It will posit a thesis and then test that thesis with various hypotheses. If it changes its opinion it doesn’t lie. It simply acknowledges that more information has come in. Wherever freedom of inquiry flourishes rational science will continually re-examine, re-test and re-evaluate facts that come in that either support or challenge the thesis. 

Consider Exhibit D above, which depicts Tunnel Vision. If we look at this graph in terms of science, the middle darkest orange area would represent scientific fact. The near-, mid- and far-peripheral vision fields would be areas for further investigation, experimentation and analysis. As facts come in, the scientific fact in the middle would be enhanced with additional information, either pro or con, to bolster its case. A good scientist will often look far afield in order to locate additional data.

If scientific inquiry is stifled the peripheral research maybe not funded and scholarly papers might not be published. In a healthy free society, the scientist can seek to continue his line of inquiry, solicit additional funding, or pursue more research. In an open scholarly climate, the scientific and medical researchers will freely engage in peer review, analysis, discussion and debate. Further research and study will be pursued.

Exhibit E: Tunnel Vision

How does scientific Tunnel Vision affect the populace? Look at Exhibit E above. Consider what might happen to this person if the lighter green Central Field line of sight is all he sees? He is only cognizant of a limited field of facts. Quite literally if his Peripheral Vision is cut off he may injure himself. Obviously, this is dangerous. What would happen if the peripheral fields of scientific research were cut off from his view? What if the only line of knowledge was a narrow segment of limited facts? What could happen to the person if key peripheral facts were deleted? The science would be faulty. It would lack key data points. This, too, could be dangerous.

Now consider what might happen if the Central Field of focus is shifted up or down. What if the facts became skewed towards one Peripheral side or another? In this way people could be deceived. They may think that they are seeing a Central Field of facts, but what they are really seeing is Peripheral Vision, which is a distortion. So if the public only sees a skewed field of focus, they are not seeing true facts. They might be seeing fake science. They might even be fooled into thinking this fake field is the truth. 

And this is precisely what Schaeffer was warning about. He said that the time would come when this sort of manipulation would be done deliberately, and it could be life-threatening. He was suspicious that science “manipulators” could utilize both technology and media to control man’s line of vision. Facts could be distorted, deleted or denied. New pseudo-facts could replace them. So anything people assumed to be truth or fact, may not be. It might be faked to gird up an agenda.

Personal Testimony: I grew up in a home where my father yelled at the television every night. It was the height of the Vietnam War (the same era Schaeffer wrote his book, circa 1970). Dad didn’t believe what the newscasters were telling him. He realized he was being spoonfed certain stories with evocative visual images. He was no dummy. He was a WWII veteran and understood that the stories that came out of war were embellished to spin a narrative that suited the politicians. It was Dad who first told me about media-induced tunnel vision. He chose not to be manipulated. So he argued out loud with the news pundits every night. Many times in my life I have thanked God that He gave me a father who boldly asked questions and wasn’t gullible. Dad exercised discernment.

Evolutionary/Revolutionary Science

The fact is that postmodern science itself has become an evolving narrative. As such it is open to continual adjustments and alterations which are not necessarily grounded in fact nor solid research. This is intentionally a “paradigm shift.” It is the spiritualization of science. It is the politicization of science.

Beware of FAKE Prophets

The science “manipulators” that Dr Schaeffer predicted are now openly functioning as fake prophets promulgating fake facts. We have arrived at a new era in a planned attempt to technologically alter man.[5] A vast new array of enhanced tools for deception are arising rapidly. As we have pointed out from historical examples above, fake science can be deadly.[6]

We are witnessing the rise of the reign of fake prophets and they are not friendly, nor open-minded, nor do they tolerate biblical Truth. This calls for radical discernment on the part of Christians who follow Jesus Christ. Why? Because it appears that the next phase of Schaeffer’s predicted Establishment Elite’s marketing program intends to rely heavily upon psycho-spiritual manipulation. It will use rewards for compliance and rely upon penalties such as fear, pressure, coercion, threats and intimidation, and worse. 

Many years ago I helped people get out of cults and the occult whose minds had succumbed to brainwashing. It begins with isolation, fear, intimidation, multiple sensory deprivations and there is continual indoctrination. (Notice how similar this description is to the past year and a half of life on earth.) One of the telling features of a cult member is that they are forbidden to think outside the box. In other words, they have an induced Tunnel Vision that prohibits them from knowing anything outside of of the narrative. Hence their truncated view of reality is not only skewed, but their faith may be missing key Gospel truths.

This is why Scripture warns repeatedly to not be deceived, to be awake and alert, and to ask for wisdom (James 1:5). Many Christians do not rely upon God’s Spirit to give them wisdom about life choices and decision, but rather they rely on worldly media or entities in authority. But Jesus specifically warned:

“Beware of fake prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)

Discern the FAKE

Here is a stern warning about gradualism. The entire fake science paradigm is built upon the slippery sands of evolutionary thinking. It is founded upon the false dialectics of Truth plus Error equals New Truth. Examine what you have been told is a scientific fact to see if it may have been deliberately manipulated. Has your field of vision been purposefully skewed? Have you made decisions or reached judgments based on truncated information? Has your line of vision to discern the truth/facts been sharply skewed? Have key facts been eviscerated? Are there vital data that have been deleted?

If we think that it is hard to discern the fake now, Jesus’s warning in Mark 13:22 is even more serious. He stated that fake prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders so potent, so believable, so counterfeit that if it were possible it could deceive even the elect. We now live in a time of incredible technological and scientific capabilities to create fakes. There is a vast potential for sophisticated deceptions. 

One thing is now certain. It is very difficult to ascertain accurate factual information. Another thing is now certain. The voices of those who are attempting to provide truthful information are being shuttered. A third thing is now certain. The kings of technology are operating as a global state overseeing all of the nations and peoples of the world, and they control the flow of information.

Finally, if you know the WORD of the GOSPEL of salvation in Jesus Christ is the TRUTH you must speak it out now while it is yet possible to do so: 

“in Whom also after that, ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise”
(Ephesians 1:13)

“Thus saith the LORD; STAND in the court of the LORD’S house, and SPEAK unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, ALL THE WORDS that I command thee to SPEAK unto them; diminish not a word.”
(Jeremiah 26:2)

Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Bernard Randall, who is ordained in the Church of England and is a former chaplain of Christ’s College, Cambridge, is taking Trent College to court for discrimination, harassment, victimisation and unfair dismissal.

He commented on his case: "My story sends a message to other Christians that you are not free to talk about your faith. It seems it is no longer enough to just ‘tolerate’ LGBT ideology. You must accept it without question and no debate is allowed without serious consequences. Someone else will decide what is and what isn’t acceptable, and suddenly you can become an outcast, possibly for the rest of your life.

"I was 'too religious' for them in a Christian school. When I read that there had been a Prevent referral, it was just so mind-blowing, the fear. If the world is mad enough to say that a Church of England minister talking about the Church of England's beliefs is a violent extremist, then somebody else might be mad enough to act on it."

Most of Social Media has gravitated in the direction of mainstream media, censoring anything they ideologically do not like. In an effort to control public thought and circumvent the American First Amendment, stifle free speech etc. , Social Media is increasingly biased and devoid of integrity. This has certainly become true in the political sphere with pro left wing ideology governing allowed content , but on issues concerning Pro-Life activism, Disagreement with homosexuality & lesbianism, fair criticism of Islam etc., Christian interests are progressively being stifled with anti-Christian censorship.

What is more troubling is that propagators and promoters of heretical doctrine and apostasy have in cases we are aware of, lied and fabricated charges with mediums such as YouTube to silence more scripturally based voices of opposition to their demonic doctrines and practices. Even where 'fair use' citations of videos have been made, the capacity of players in the apostate church to lie, falsely claiming copyright violations etc., has been unbelievable.

The rapid pace of change since the coved 19 outbreak from China and its impact on the church and its challenge to the Freedom of Christians has been an avalanche as has been increasing anti-Semitism and Jew hatred. There has been politically motivated censorship of Israel, while Iran is allowed to demand Israel's violent destruction on Social Media. Conservative voices are unjustly being branded and banned as racists, while truly bigoted voices on the radical left are allowed to sing their venom like a chorus intoxicated canaries.

Ultimately however, prolife, pro-Israel, and pro heterosexual marriage voices among Christians are being equated to political hate speech.

Just as independent media has been the only viable alternative to mainstream media, independent Social Media platforms with their own servers and apps are the only alternative to the direction most of mainstream Social Media has veered, and this certainly includes YouTube & Twitter.

To proclaim the authentic message of Jesus and His Return as is taught in God's Word, saved Christians can no longer rely on secular social media respecting First Amendment r5ights, or Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Religion itself is already under attack.

We must have an alternative outlet while there is still time remaining.

In fact, what Britain has now so remarkably achieved, and how it did so, provides an object lesson in strategy and diplomacy for every democratic nation, not least when it comes to dealing with the Middle East or threats from foreign aggressors.

Although the United Kingdom formally left the European Union on January 31 2020, it entered into a transition period of 11 months within which to negotiate its future relationship with the EU.

The Europeans were determined not to give Britain any advantage that might enable it to prosper far more than EU member states ruled by Brussels. Since Britain obviously wanted to gain precisely that advantage, a battle was inevitable.

But the EU made a fatal error. It failed to realise that Britain really meant what it said.

Eurocrats are locked into the progressive mindset that regards democratic national self-government as an impediment to trans-national utopia. So the EU negotiators never took seriously the passionate desire of the British people to become once again an independent self-governing nation, as expressed in their 2016 Brexit referendum vote, nor the pledge by their prime minister, Boris Johnson, to honour that vote.

Moreover, the Eurocrats shared the attitude displayed by many in Britain who voted to remain in the EU — that the UK was too weak and useless to go it alone in the world.

The European negotiators assumed that, regardless of Britain’s formal exit, it would still want to keep many of the advantages of EU membership and would therefore swallow the back-door control by Brussels that these would entail.

Accordingly, even when Britain’s former prime minister Theresa May was dumped from office last year after trying to foist upon her country departure terms that would have turned it into an EU “vassal” state, the EU assumed that her successor, Boris Johnson, would prove equally feeble and pliable.

So when the British government maintained that sovereignty was its absolutely non-negotiable red line, the EU assumed that it was speaking with forked tongue. And when Johnson declared that he would opt for no deal at all rather than breach his sovereignty pledge, the EU didn’t believe him.

Confident that he was an opportunist anxious to avoid compounding the damage done by Brexit, it offered terms designed to play upon what it assumed was Britain’s main weakness. This was its supposed desperation to safeguard what the EU believed to be the UK’s most valuable assets—the City of London financial centre, the creative industries and the professions.

So to minimise disadvantage to these areas, the EU offered to keep them alone within the EU single market—and thus hook the UK under EU control in perpetuity.

Certain that Britain would want to protect these assets, the EU was therefore astounded when it turned the offer down.

With the clock ticking last week to the deadline, the astonishing truth suddenly dawned on the Eurocrats that Johnson actually meant what he said. As a result, they were staring down the barrel of no-deal.

Problematic as this would have been for Britain, it would have been far worse for the EU And so, at the last minute, a trade and co-operation agreement suddenly materialised.

True, it’s a flawed deal for Britain — not least because of areas like financial services that have now been left out of it altogether.

Other elements of the previously agreed UK withdrawal terms — in particular, a fudge over Northern Ireland which will follow certain EU single market rules — are very bad.

But the point is that these are now merely flawed treaties the UK can renegotiate, exit or supersede if it chooses.

For crucially, it has regained its sovereign power to make its own laws and policies, the essence of a democratic and free nation. That was the fundamental point behind the Brexit vote.

And the important lesson for other nations is that the British government pulled off this feat because its opponents didn’t believe it actually meant what it said — but it really did, and acted accordingly.

The assumption that the west believes in nothing strongly enough to fight for it has fuelled conflict in the Middle East and elsewhere. Around the world, aggressors gain the advantage because they know that western democracies that say they’ll bring them to heel don’t actually mean it.

From Iran to North Korea, from China to the Palestinians, rogue states, terrorist regimes and other aggressors have been able to continue their murderous, expansionist activities because they think that, however much the west may threaten them, it won’t follow through.

So the Palestinians never believed the west meant it when it told them they had to accept the right of Israel to exist. Why should they have believed this, when until 2016 at least the west never stopped excusing, funding and incentivising their aggression?

The one exception to this has been US President Donald Trump, who called the Palestinians’ manipulative bluff. Told by the rest of the west that moving the US embassy to Jerusalem would provoke the Arab world to violence, he ignored this and moved it anyway.

Not only was there no such uprising, but now the Palestinians have been marginalised by an Arab world that’s increasingly making its peace with Israel in a way that was previously unthinkable.

That’s largely due in turn to Trump taking the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal and reimposing sanctions on the regime. He thus showed that, unlike former President Barack Obama or the British and the Europeans, when he said he intended to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons he really did mean it.

Now there are fears that President-elect Joe Biden may reactivate the Iran deal and start pumping money again into the regime’s nefarious activities; or he may once again incentivise the Palestinians’ agenda of destroying Israel; or he may allow China to walk all over him in its drive to dominate the west.

This is based on the fear that Biden may behave as the left always behave. They have no red lines of principle over stopping aggressors and protecting their victims. Instead, their doctrine of moral equivalence means that they make no such value judgments between aggressor and victim.

Their red line is instead merely to keep negotiations and peace processes going. The result is that they excuse and empower aggressors just to keep them from walking out of the talks.

So when they claim to be against tyranny, racism and oppression, the world’s tyrants, racists and oppressors know they don’t mean what they say.

Britain now faces more battles with the EU The free world faces more battles with Iran, China, Russia, Islamic jihadists and other lethal foes. The Jews face their interminable battle against those who wish to destroy them.

What the Brexit deal reminds us is that hypocrites are dismissed with contempt as paper tigers; and that for freedom, justice and democracy to win against aggression, injustice and tyranny, the leaders of the free world must not pay mere lip-service to defending the former but actually mean what they say.

A Southern Baptist pastor, blogger and radio host accused of cyberbullying in the weeks since the death by suicide of a Texas teenager said in a lengthy confession read to his church on Sunday the controversy has left him “crushed” and “broken.”

Pastor J.D. Hall said many members of Fellowship Church of Sidney, Mont., might not even be aware that for three years he has been advocating reform in the Southern Baptist Convention through Pulpit and Pen, a blog and radio program that airs on Worldview Weekend founded by conservative Christian broadcaster Brannon Howse.

Among the issues Hall has addressed is Ergun Caner, president of Georgia Baptist Convention-affiliated Brewton-Parker College, who is accused of making up a testimony of being raised to become an Islamic terrorist before accepting Christ as a teenager. Hall has also taken on high-profile SBC leaders who defend Caner and failure in the Baptist media to report the story.

On July 2 Hall wondered on Twitter why Caner’s 15-year-old son, Braxton, was “posting make-out pics and profanity” on social media. Four weeks later, according to an online medical examiner’s report, Braxton Caner ended his own life in an upstairs bedroom of his home in Aledo, Texas, at 6:54 p.m. on July 29.

Hall initially defended the original post and a brief exchange of tweets with the teenager, saying it was relevant to the father’s ability to lead in his own home. Later Hall said he regretted pointing out the teen’s online behavior, calling it a distraction and admitting that he should have contacted Caner privately.

That didn’t stop several bloggers from piling on criticism, accusing Hall of “thuggery,” “cyber-stalking,” “harassing” and “bullying” the youth. Some suggested that criticism of his father by Hall and other bloggers may have indirectly or directly been a factor in Braxton’s suicide.

Hall told his congregation that he doesn’t believe his “four-comment and rather cordial exchange” had anything to do with Braxton’s death, but he confessed that he never should have interacted with the 15 year old youth “because my heart to him was not pastoral.”

“I am profoundly sorry that Braxton Caner ended his life,” Hall said. “Knowing now that this young man struggled with that level of despair, I am even more sorry that my interaction with this young 15 year old boy who then killed himself was adversarial rather than pastoral.”
