An anti Pentecostal cessationist and extreme Calvinist aligned with Ruckmanites in Australia named Mike Claydon has launched a series of malicious and defamatory attacks upon Dave Hunt, David Wilkerson, Jacob Prasch, and Philip Powell. This includes a campaign of unbelievably untrue statements manufactured by Mr .Claydon attacking the character and ministries of non cessationists. We only respond on behalf of Jacob Prasch; the other defamed brethren are capable of responding for themselves should they believe it worthwhile. Jacob Prasch & Moriel however continue to endorse the ministries of Dave Hunt, David Wilkerson, Bill Randles, Philip Powell etc.

Any Christian sincerely requiring proof that Mr Claydon has manufactured untrue statements for public consumption will be furnished with proof.

1. Mr Claydon falsely claims that he ignored Jacob Prasch. Copies of e mails to third parties sent by Claydon proving that far from ignoring Jacob , he was engaged in bitter defamations of Jacob, will be sent upon request, proving that Mr Claydon has not told the truth.
2. Mr Claydon falsely claims that Jacob was publicly rebuked by Dave Hunt. Unedited videos are available of the conference this was supposed to have happened by internet and/or postal order from any branch of Moriel, proving that Claydon has not told the truth.
3. Mr. Claydon claims Jacob to have been wrongly presented by a Baptist pastor as a Messianic Jew in order to obtain money from old ladies making Jacob a charlatan. Any Christian sincerely wishing copies of Jacob’s Israeli national identity card (teudat zeut) and immigration certificate (teudat oleh) – both of which are legal documents – will be sent copies by forwarding a Self addressed Envelope and a request to Moriel (UK), Maidenhead, UK SL6 9FB (in addition to being a Jew by marriage). Jacob’s published testimony , inclusive of the Roman Catholic background put on him by his mother, is on the Moriel web site, in his books, and on innumerable tapes and videos. As our published literature highlights, Jacob’s family is a mixture of Jew and Gentile which befits the ministry of Moriel helping non Jews to rediscover the Judaic origins of the Christian faith and helping believing Jews as the natural branches to be re-grafted back into their own olive tree, which has become demographically and culturally dominated by believing non Jews. Our web site and published material in the public domain prove that Moriel misrepresents nothing; far from manipulating money from old ladies, Jacob Prasch & Moriel have consistently been among those at the very forefront of warning against money preaching.
4. Mr Claydon falsely claims that Jacob Prasch had once been a friend of the hyper Calvinist and radical cessationist Peter Glover. Jacob never even met Peter Glover and wouldn’t know him if he fell over him. Far from having been friends, Moriel only knew Mr Glover from a few of his writings (which Jacob & Moriel refused to carry on its book list) and at no time has Jacob ever even seen Peter Glover (nor even a picture of Mr Glover) let alone been a friend of him. Those wishing proof are encouraged to ask Mr Glover for themselves. Like Mr Claydon, Mr Glover is a radical cessationist and an extreme Calvinist. Indeed, like Mr Claydon’s associates WB Howard & W Buester (refuted on the Moriel web site and in a published article by Dr Arnold Fruchtenbaum) the writings of Peter Glover do seem vehemently anti Semitic. Among others, Mr Glover has attacked Bill Randles, and the leaders of The Gypsy Pentecostal Movement (Light & Life). Via Moriel, Jacob did once openly challenge Mr Glover to a public debate concerning Mr Glover’s statements that “Jewish hermeneutics put Christ on the cross” in reaction to what many of our readers found as overt anti Semitism being propagated within the church by Mr Glover . To say that Jacob Prasch had ever been a friend of such a person as Peter Glover and then parted ways is ridiculous. Jacob has never been associated with Peter Glover to begin with and in fact has never even met him. Once again, we can prove that Mr Glover is not telling the truth.
5. Mr Claydon falsely claims that Moriel is a judaising ministry. We invite anyone interested to read for themselves the ‘Satan’s Seduction Of The Hebrew Root Movement’ on this web site, plus “The New Galatians” article proving that Jacob Prasch & Moriel have in no uncertain terms strongly opposed judaisation and solidly warned against the extreme axis of The Messianic Movement. As anyone can read for themselves, the diametric opposite of what Mr Claydon claims is observably true.

The malicious nature of Mr Claydon’s repeated attacks on Dave Hunt, Philip Powell, David Wilkerson and others is something we can only regard as atrocious. Whether Mr Calydon is indeed a pathological liar and a false Christian or is rather a troubled man who needs help, is a judgment we are not able to make. The proven fact that he habitually fabricates demonstrably untrue statements that can so easily be shown to be absolutely false however, convinces us that this is a sad, an irrational, and a driven man with serious problems.
