The coming of Brother Geoff Toole this April 14-15 was a blessing. We visited the four sick children at their home. (Rialyn Cali, Romar Ibanez, Shyrose Baladbad, Jenna rose Romero). They are on our main concern, Bro. Geoff pray for them and brought encouraging words to their family. He also lead us a Bible Seminar. The attendance were more than 35
including mothers, one pastor’s wife, and young peoples. Every one received additional knowledge from the lessons of God’s word and we all had a happy fellowship. Continue reading →

Dear Bro. Jacob and Bro. David,

Grace be to you and peace from the Lord Jesus Christ.

The parents of our dump children were glad because they had known the physical condition of their children when Bro. Jacob Prasch and Dr. Hong Jie conduct a medical mission last month of this year. Since then, we gave more attention to 3 kids who have a heart problem and to one who have a cleft lip palate. We continue assisting and helping them,we regularly buy the maintenance medicine of Romar and Shy Rose prescribed by cardiologist. About Jenna Rose,a malnourished child,we regularly buy her personal vitamin and milk. The cardiologist recommended a 3D Echocardiogram for Jenna Rose, that’s why we brought her to Philippine Heart Center, Quezon City. and she was given a Doctor’s appointment on February 15. It was a joyful experience again of our Dump children this Year End Thanksgiving party. They received the teaching of God’s goodness and learn to appreciate the lord’s mercy and good people.
They sung praises to the Lord and we all together express our prayer of thanks, giving thanks to the Lord, for you , Moriel ministries family and to all supporters.
They enjoy eating delicious foods and they received Moriel gifts- grocery bags that contains packs of rice, biscuits, can goods, noodles and fruits.
It was an unforgettable happy day for them. Thank you so much, may the Lord continue bless each and everyone.

Phillippine Garbage Dump Children June 2012

Greeting you in Jesus.
We praise and thank the Lord God Almighty for He answered our prayers with the young dump children. We give thanks to you, to Sis. Marg, to Moriel Ministries, to all our supporters who support the Ministry-programs and missions, for God use all of you as His channels of blessings.
The young children already received their personal Bible. They were proud to take their Bible in every Bible study and in every christian gathering.They have already a good acoustic guitar for them to learn to play it, and use their talent in serving the Lord.
We bought microphone and set of speakers. we open it while the children are on eating to hear the praise and worship songs, to condition their minds and heart to the mercy and goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will also use it for Bible study,seminars, and other christian activities.
We installed the screen at the entrance and window of the main feeding room to block the flies and mosquitoes.
Rain always falls here, our dump children got wet when they came to the feeding area. To protect them from colds we bought them rain coats and umbrellas. They will use and wear it when they come to the feeding room, they will also use it in going to School.
Every time the smell and the ask from the dump is bad, We give medicine to the children. We thank the Lord that so far no one is getting sick. We monitored their weight, most of them gained weight while others are just the same.
These are the things that we haven’t done yet:
 1. Repair of leaking roof at the main feeding room.
 2. Construction of wall,door and windows for the extension feeding room.
 3. Computer for the children’s schooling.

Blessings in Jesus.

In the monthly missions report from The Philippines renovations on the feeding room for our rubbish dump children are complete and the new floor will allow us to do bible seminars for Philippino pastors. Geoff O’Toole from Moriel Japan branch will be conducting a seminar  in the New Testament for Philippine pastors. It will be our first on our own premises. Praise Jesus!

On a down note, one of our children –  Mary Mae has been struck by Denguey fever. It is an ugly mosquito born infection that is all to prevalent especially in poor areas. Please pray for Mary Mae who is hospitlized. Denguey fever is a terrible disease especially when it infects little children and please pray that no more of our kids get infected.

Phillippine Garbage Dump Children New Year's Service

My family and Moriel Kids gave thanks unto our holy and gracious God last December 31, 2011. The children had joyfully received the blessings and appreciated them so much.

We started in prayer, Jomar Panwelos led the opening song, while Jacob, my son, played the organ.

Children offered their song of praises unto the Lord. And I gave them a short message of encouragement.

Before they eat, prayer of thanks for the delicious food. The Kitchen workers, Ann- my wife, and Grace- my daughter, served the food. They had spaghetti, hotdog, gelatine, banana, ice cream, shanghai roll, juice drink, and roasted pig(Lechon baboy). It was the first time for most of the children to have eaten a roasted pig because it is one of the most special foods of Filipinos in every special occasions. The children enjoyed their food. They ate as long as they liked.

They rested for a while after eating, then they had some parlor games like Trip to Jerusalem, Bring Me and etc. The small boy- Joren Panwelos had a high score in telling Memory Verses as many as they could. The small girl-Mary Mae Amposta had a high score in singing Praise Songs as many as they could.

After the games, the children had some take home goodies in a plastic bag composed of fruits like apple, ponkan, dalandan and candies. They all went home with a smile in their faces and a happy tummy.

Truly, we should thank the Lord in everything.

Preparatory Young Children's Hour

Greeting you in the name Jesus Christ.

I have set a time for older children to have their activity every Sunday afternoon and we call it ” Preparatory Young People’s Hour “. I prepared those children ages 11  and up to be young people. They have a time for advance study of the Bible, they have a time for Bible Quiz to develop their memory and knowledge of the Word of God, time for games- Bible games, Bible drill to enhance the joy of their fellowship and at the same time, familiarized themselves to the books of the Bible, a time for practice singing and after their activity they take their snack.

Let us pray for them, we pray that they may develop their confidence and be familiar to every christian activity. Lets pray that on perfect time they will be useful on service for the Lord.

Moriel Rubbish Dump Children in Phillipines Back to School

Greeting you in Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
The children were happy while receiving the gift (school supplies) from Moriel Ministries, even their parents express their thankfulness, I told them that God love us, Moriel Ministries love the Lord and concern also for the children and for the work of the Lord.
We have gave to more or less 60 children,who are the attender of children’s Bible Study and a regular recipients of Moriel regular Feeding Program .
Thank you very much and glory to God for this ” give a gift school supplies program”.

Moriel Children’s Church for Phillippine Rubbish Dump Children

Greeting you in Jesus our Lord and Savior.

This coming June 13 the children will be back to secular school,every year we have a small program-”give a gift school supplies”.We give them notebooks,writing paper pads,pencil and ballpen.The Children are waiting for the program. Do I make a move to this small program for Moriel Ministries? Please give some suggestions.

While we conduct a feeding session last May 24 there was an electric power interruption. The children were uneasy and perspiring,we brought them out to eat outside. I think if we have a little bit bigger with good window,even if we experience elect. power interruptions it will sustain good temperature. Please include this in our prayers.

I am glad to tell you that we have already conducted a regular Children’s Chapel Hour every Day of the Lord. Please pray for us and the ministry. Thank you very much for all the supports and prayers.
