We are adding this to our Links page but thought to post it here as well. They have a web page called “Ministry Watch” which is an excellent resource for finding out the financial condition of many ministries. On the front page is a list of “30 Shining Light Ministries” who do the best job of getting as close to 100% of donations out to the field, and “30 Donor Alert Ministries” which is a kind of financial hall of shame. They provide this report which briefly states the problem with each “winner”.

A Question for Jacob RE: His Television Comments

I am writing in response to your interview with Jacob Prasch . I really enjoyed him and all the knowledge that he possesses. I would just like pick up on a point that one of your viewers wrote in about regarding the revivals that have happened (such as Lakeland etc) and are happening now in Alabama. Jacob said that these were counterfeit and not of God. I cannot speak with any authority on previous revivals but feel passionately about what is happening in Alabama.
I have known Nathan Morris since he was 6 years old his Father is the pastor  of my church. The heart of that family is that the lost will be saved they love the Lord with un compromised lives. I know Nathan and the testimony of how God saved him. He walks only in obedience to the Lord and nothing of what he does is driven by selfish ambition or deception. He wants souls for the Lord.
I just felt I had to speak up because I donât want him to be tarred with the same brush (so to speak). He speaks an uncompromised gospel and signs and wonders follow.

I know nothing of Nathan Morris. (Obviously however he has never been anointed of the Lord to have a major evangelistic impact for Christ in his own country, the UK, or we all would have heard of him). Is it a saga of shame, betrayal, and foolishness by those who should (and actually do) know better, or is it more a matter of biblical ignorance, a misplaced zeal, pandering to the pressures of theocratic politics, or convoluted loyalties, or a lack of wisdom from above?
There is no doubt that God’s PEACE plan is the redemptive and regenerative Gospel of Jesus alone; there is no true salvation in any other Name (Acts 4:12), nor any other true God but the God of Israel (Exodus 20:3, Jeremiah 10:10) and other gods are demons (1 Corinthians 10:20, Deuteronomy 32:17, Psalm 106:37). Nor is there any other true “PEACE” except through God’s peace plan based on the New Testament Gospel of salvation by grace and justification through faith (Luke 2:14, Romans 3:17, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:14, 2 Thessalonians 3:16, 1 Peter 5:14, 2 Peter 3:14).
Rick Warren however, has teamed up with Tony Blair to push Rick Warren’s own “Global ‘PEACE’ Plan” aligning governments, industries, and religions â all religions (including Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and worshipers of other “gods” which Scripture identifies as demons) to inaugurate Warren’s peace plan contrary to God’s and omits the Gospel of Jesus as the only true “PEACE”. Todd Bentley is great! If you don’t believe me just ask the multitudes who have been astonished by the “miraculous revival” in Lakeland Florida! Or just check out the Christian television show “Xtreme Prophetic” featuring Host Patricia King, which I saw on YouTube. Bentley was featured on the show as one of the new prophets of the younger generation. Patricia King the host spoke for many when she proclaimed Todd as an “awesome man of power who is a Seer’. She also announced that Todd has brought “a million people into the Kingdom of God in the last eight years”. Todd was guest on the show with his mentor, another great prophet – Bob Jones. His resume was equally impressive- King described Him as “a champion of the Seer realm”, and “one of the most accurate of prophets of our generation”, and she thanked him for being a “father of the faith”, as well as a seer-prophet. Before we move on into examining the teachings of Bentley and the meetings in depth we need to pause and consider the Word of God’s teaching on these supernatural matters.
The basis of some peopleâs Christianity is if a miracle takes place, it is sufficient evidence for them to believe it is from God. They never check it out or test it; something that God commands us to do. The Bible teaches us that Satan uses this method to deceive the naïve, the immature, and the ignorant to remove them from walking in the truth of the word. Someone who argues that miracles are from God 100 percent of the time is already open to deception. This becomes a major flaw from those who are willing to accept all miracles that happens is from God. To avoid testing is to neglect many of the Bibles commands for our safety. Jesus warns us about a movement in the last days that will be done by many coming in his name (Mt.24:5-6) and include miraculous signs taking place. Matthew 24:23-25: âThen if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.â If a Christian neglects this they will be deceived. Continue reading

It is just more of the same old ridiculous, unscriptural, carnal, and demonically inspired junk that will not and cannot bring true biblical and historical revival, but can be used to help prevent it.
In the character of other counterfeit moves of God that produced no promised revival, the latest lie is from Lakeland, Florida after the failed promised revivals of Kansas City, Toronto, and Pensacola.
It is more of the same unbiblical doctrine and contra-scriptural practices, manipulation, carnality, demonic influences, counterfeit spirituality, and just plain stupidity in the groove of the Kansas City False Prophets (Mike Bickel, the drunken homosexual Paul Cane, and the sexually immoral Bob Jones), the Toronto Experience (John Arnott, influenced by Rodney Howard Brown via Randy Clark), its American clone, the Pensacola fiasco (John Kilpatrick, Steve Hill), and West Africa’s TB Joshua.
No revival came from any of this lunacy, and true revival will not come from Lakeland either for the same reasons – it is not scriptural and not of God. Continue reading
